The Spark offer
Real work, not a workshop.
Spark is a four-week engagement for software teams that are unsure where to begin with agentic development, want to accelerate early progress, or need better results from previous experiments. Senior CodeLantern engineers work alongside your team in a real repository, onboard your team to the CodeLantern Platform, and establish our structured workflow through meaningful production work.
Spark may fit when
- Your team is unsure where to begin with agentic development.
- You want to accelerate early progress on work that matters now.
- Previous efforts at agentic development have not produced a repeatable or effective way of working.
How it works
We drive. We guide. You run.
Responsibility moves toward your team as the working practices become real in the repository.
01
Week 1 · We drive
Onboard the team and establish the foundation
We onboard your team to the CodeLantern Platform, connect the repository and project-management tools, create the initial Knowledge Base, select the production work, and agree on the measures that matter.
02
Weeks 2–3 · We guide
Deliver real production work
Senior CodeLantern engineers work alongside your team using our structured, human-steered workflow from intent through implementation, review, and release.
03
Week 4 · You run
Run, consolidate, and decide
Your team runs the workflow while we help capture durable project knowledge, establish relevant baseline metrics about your agentic delivery, and recommend the next step.
After four weeks
Working software, reusable knowledge, and metrics that matter.
Spark leaves your team with work and working practices it can use, plus a grounded view of what to do next.
Artifact 01
A configured CodeLantern Platform workspace
Your team, repository, project-management tools, and working context connected for agentic delivery.
Artifact 02
Shipped production work
Meaningful work completed in the real repository.
Artifact 03
A structured agentic development workflow
A repeatable, human-steered way to move work from intent through implementation, review, and release.
Artifact 04
Reusable repository knowledge
Conventions, decisions, and learnings captured where people and agents can use them.
Artifact 05
A measured baseline of your team's agentic performance
Evidence about work completed, team confidence, usage, cost, and delivery performance.
Artifact 06
A recommendation for what comes next
A readiness assessment and practical recommendation for broader adoption or the next piece of work.
Common questions
What teams ask before Spark.
We confirm the repository, team, access, and scope before the four weeks begin.
Who needs to participate?
During a Spark engagement, CodeLantern works alongside one customer team. We need access to the people who understand the repository, can make technical decisions, and will use the working practices after the engagement.
What repository can we use?
We choose an existing repository with meaningful production work that can move during the four weeks. We confirm scope and fit with you before the engagement begins.
What do we have after four weeks?
You have a configured CodeLantern Platform workspace, shipped work, a working agentic-development workflow, reusable repository knowledge, a measured baseline, and a practical recommendation for what follows.
What happens after Spark?
We review the evidence with you and recommend the next step. Your team may continue independently, continue using the CodeLantern Platform after Spark (ongoing licensing costs apply), or discuss further work where it is useful.
